Making a Difference

4 Members of the Leicestershire Round Task Team tackled a persistent problem of overgrowing hawthorn and vegetation on a section of the Round in John’s Lee Wood, Newtown Linford, last month. The vegetation wasn’t allowing the area to dry  out and was particularly muddy underfoot. Hopefully, the team members endeavours will make a difference, making it easier to negotiate.

Photos 1 & 2 show before and after tackling the vegetation and Photo 3 shows the happy band of volunteers and the transport provided to get to the site.

If you are interested in joining our happy band of volunteers, please get in touch with David Williams.

Regards,

David
