Market Bosworth Hall
The outward section (on the Leicestershire Round) takes you across beautiful countryside, in slightly hilly arable land with superb views from the high ground. The return to Market Bosworth is quite a difficult walk as there are many stiles and two potentially very wet and muddy areas. Also, beware of a couple of electric fences put by farmers across their fields.
Items of interest Market Bosworth’s market charter dates back to 1285 and from the central market square the town has expanded fanwise. Bosworth Arboretum park with its well laid out woods, gardens, ponds, playing and picnic areas is ideal for family outings.
