A lovely walk today from Ashby Folville 3 June 2025

It’s along time since Ricks Ramblers walked from the Carrington Arms. It’s under new management and the food was great. The dry spring weather came to an end and we got soaked walking through Barsby and Gaddesby but the scenery and beautiful villages and fields full of sheep made up for our wet walking gear!  The fields were full of sheep, we never saw cattle nor horses just sheep. We saw the tallest waymarker we’ve ever seen too! Eventually the sun came out and we were dry but muddy by the time we got back to the Carrington Arms for lunch.

We will be back!
