Christmas Walk to Mallory Park and our Winter Buffet

Both long and short walks go from The Lodge, Brascote to Mallory Park Racetrack and back, with mulled wine and mince pies beforehand and followed by a buffet lunch and drinks in Anne C's garden.

About the Event
There are two walks from Anne C’s house (The Lodge, Brascote Lane, Brascote, Newbold Verdon. LE9 9LE); the longer one will start at 9.45 am while the shorter one will begin at 10.00 am. There’s plenty of parking to the left of her house, through the gateway into the field. Before we march off into the mud, wind and rain, there will be the traditional chance to have a mince pie and mulled wine (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
After the walk, we can have a buffet with food that’s easy to eat in the garden. The weather may not be that kind on the day, but there is a permanent gazebo and two fabric ones will be put up in the garden. The garage drinks bar will be serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic mulled wine plus beer and soft drinks. As we did in the summer, there is a toilet that’s easy…
