Walk 3 Woodhouse Eaves and Great Central Railway

Interesting and varied buildings in Woodhouse Eaves, including the church built over a cave in the rock and a new round Baptist chapel.

Old Woodhouse has a fine row of old almshouses built by Mrs Perry Herrick for her workers.

From Rabbits Bridge you can walk a little way to have a fine view of Swithland reservoir or wait to watch regular steam trains passing at weekends.
