Waltham on the Wolds to Croxton Kerrial
Tuesday 22nd May Di’s long walk from Waltham on the Wolds. Piped to the parking by another small group that set off at 9.30. This was the first, or perhaps only, day of summer. Shorts, sun hats and factor 20 were the order of the day. The route headed off for Croxton Kerrial but too early for lunch we made a loop Jim would be proud off through Branston. Ken peeled off here for a pint while the other ten continued to Croxton for lunch. The afternoon return was via Bescaby. Some great views in the morning and fields of oil seed rape in the afternoon. Great walk, thanks Di.
