It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Satchwell.
Rick became the Tuesday walks organiser in 2017 and was also an active committee member of the LFA. In addition to being an energetic and dedicated organiser, Rick was also a much loved and respected friend. He was a very thoughtful man who oozed warmth and kindness.
Whilst enjoying the well trodden footpaths of the Leicestershire countryside, his wonderful and infectious sense of humour brought joy and much laughter to our Tuesday walks. He has left us with many happy memories.
Rick was a huge presence in our group and will be greatly missed.
He will always remain in our thoughts and in our hearts.
We send sincere condolences to his family.
