“I’m attempting to create a QR code to use on a poster for Leicestershire Footpath Association. Unfortunately I don’t have a phone that can scan it so I’m seeking your assistance please.
Can you please print and then scan (or perhaps you can scan it from the screen) and tell me which web site page it opens.
Thank you in anticipation of your help.”
“I Really did not understand your request but having recieved a new smart phone for Christmas thought I should try it out. First looked on Google to find out what QR code was and how to use it, then downloaded the scanning app on my phone, scanned the code, it then came up with LFA e-mail address/32-short-walks-using- the-leicestershire-round/ below were 3 boxes labeled Open Browser, Share via email & Share via SMS. Opened browser and LFA web site came up.”
NOTE: QR code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone.
