En route to Osbaston
After a snowy and freezing weekend stuck in the house, would there even be a Tuesday walk? Yes — and 25 like minded walkers turned up at The Windmill, Brascote for Graham H to lead us through mud and snow drifts in a chill wind. Thanks go to Graham and Audrey for turning out on Sunday to check the feasibility. The route took us through Newbold Verdon past the church and round to Osbaston. From there we went on to Cadeby and back via Naneby Hall Farm to Brascote.

Waiting in the shadows
Brief periods of sun and picturesque snow scenes made an excellent walk and it felt good to be alive although quite tiring. This just served to make the pub,the food and the drink all the more satisfying. Although not the cheapest menu, one person was heard to say it was the best meal they’d ever had on a Tuesday walk and no one was disappointed. N.B.
